Key 5 – Be natural, eat ‘brown’ and try veggie

Avoid refined, processed and ready made food as far as you possibly can, even when the calories look similar to home cooked or it appears to be healthy. If your body is busy dealing with additives and preservatives, it has less capacity to digest your food and burn those calories. Eat natural, ‘brown’ wholefoods such as brown pasta, brown rice, brown bread and brown flour.  Also, eat meat free meals when you can. Fill up with vegetables and salad, and learn to love soya, Quorn and other meat free alternatives. Better for you and for the planet.
